Ford FC1 and FC2A Coupling Suggested Specification


All FC1 and FC2A Style Cast Couplings manufactured by The Ford Meter Box Company, Inc.
shall comply with all applicable ASTM Specifications.  Specifically, the center sleeve and end
rings shall be Ductile Iron per ASTM A536 80.  The gasket material shall be SBR rubber per
ASTM D2000 90M 4AA 810, and the bolts and nuts shall be of low alloy per ASTM A242 and 
AWWA C111.
